Genshin Impact patched overnight. Is it safe to play after a patch, or do I sit out until the Updates page goes green?
I do not want to load an old build into mHYProtect. How long do rebuilds usually take?

Sit out until Updates is green. Playing on a yellow or red day is how people get banned, not the build itself.

Client patches and mHYProtect waves are not the same night every time. Wait for the note, not the launcher finish screen.

Do not launch into a fresh Genshin Impact or mHYProtect patch until Updates is green. Rebuilds post there. If you already loaded an old build, close the game and wait.

It depends on the patch. Check Updates instead of guessing. If it is still yellow after a long wait, Support can confirm.

Last two patches were same evening for me. One bigger wave took overnight. I just farmed on a clean account that day.

That is the right call. Green first, then a short Mondstadt test, then real play.
